The Kirby Science Center for Children on the 2nd floor of the Washington Pavilion is definitely a kids' favorite. The two year old loves the preschool room with tunnels, foam logs and a water exploration center. My older child loves driving the Mars rover or playing with the man-made tornado. There is also an Imax Theater available, the art gallery, and the main theatre which hosts concerts and plays. Occasionally the Pavilion hosts special events for the whole family. We have attended ones on agriculture, Lewis and Clark, and health. It is definitely worth the money to buy a season membership to the Kirby Science Center and watch for special events hosted by the Pavilion.

The Washington Pavillon of Arts and Science is a great place for family and kids. There is a gorgeous huge theater, a stage theater, and a science museum. There is so much to do.
